To start off, X-Wars is an e-mailing list where everyone is supposed to just have fun. X-Wars started as a debate on the Blink fan club a few years back and the Blinkers just got sick of these people arguing on their list and sent them of on their way.
X-Wars is now pretty much a freestyle list where almost anything goes; spam, PBEM games, Role Playing, and other various things. There are teams that often argue amongst themselves through Role Playing such as the Crimson Shadow, Generation Next, the XSE, and the Fringe of Justice. Each active member on the list makes a character which they play in RPs and often reply to Out of Character (OOC) messages In Character (IC). Joining X-Wars was a process I found difficult because Majordomo is complicated. I'm still working on making a worry-free way of joining.
